What does having a 'builder's mindset' give you in life?:
A Sense of Purpose and Fulfillment
BUILDERS MINDSET: They like structure, models and frameworks. They place their thinking in this context and then build process, content and order creatively. Focused, problem-solving, patient because they believe in quality and craftsmanship and are project-orientated.
Having a builder's mindset means that they have the ability of using discipline, discernment and initiative, which reflects in how they approach situations. They see, judge then act. Because they have the tool-set that fits the purpose whether it be at the start of something, innovation or change, thus making them look self-assured and confident, especially when it comes to dealing with people and tasks alike.
That is why other people are drawn towards those with a builder's mindset, because not only are they confident but also trusted, and have such credibility, that they are generally left alone to get on with the matter at hand without the need to be micro-managed.

For example, personally I was asked "what's in your skill-set that people don't know about you?" And my answer was: I like to build. Hence, I will build my social media platforms in front of you and fill in the content as I go along. You see the development of it in real-time. Therefore, it's organic & authentic.
My 'building' skill-set as well as in my online presence is used in my professional life; teacher, educator; lifelong learner, personal life; ideal-self. This takes a 'building mind-set' hence I became involved and an expert in Personal Development.
The only downside to having this 'Builder's mindset' is contending with self-sabotage and neurotic perfectionism (which is opposite to having a healthy perfectionism that is striving). This means that if we build something like a project based task, (we don't show this tendency towards other people), we can easily destroy it because it wasn't what we wanted to see as a result - it goes and we won't think twice about it. This leads to frustrations and self-anger in our efforts.

When you have a 'Builders mindset', it's hard to work in an environment that is not hands off and allows you to personally develop according to your Strength of Will. This I know is hard to do when working for a company, as they want things done on their terms and at their pace. This is why having a 'Builders mindset' is difficult in institutionalized settings, as boredom takes hold, because you're not allowed to build anything or your waiting for permission to do something. Frustration and boredom will arise. So you'll need to resolve this. And sharpish, or else moodiness or depression will set in the longer you take to find how to build your self-worth up again.
How to counter this is by mediation and through the practice of mindfulness if you're working on a project for yourself. And also taking a pragmatic approach that: we can start again, it will come right in the end, or it is do-able for now; so - I'll come back to it when I'm ready. And another pragmatic approach is to build something away from the corporate institutionalized setting if working for someone else. This will enable your 'Builders mindset' to have free reign and give your mind what it needs to feel as a functional person. As self-care is important to recharge and rest.
On a positive note, where emotions are concerned having a 'Builders mindset' also stops you from being overwhelmed, it really does, as after taking a deep breath, you crack on with the task at hand with gusto, pulling all your energy together. Just know that you are doing it. End of. Acting very decisively with a builders mindset in play.
On another positive note, having a 'builders mindset' sits well with self-regulation and self-control. As another important factor is in tenacity as grit, or perseverance and passion for long-term goals which would need self-regulation. Whilst self-control involves the ability to resist temptation and control impulses in the short-term. All of which requires strong self-will to see things through to the end and perhaps even begin again.
And what a 'Builders mindset' needs and has as a desire are two things: to be inspired and to work with passion. This is where they draw their energy from, and what they gain is a sense of purpose, accomplishment and fulfillment as in self-actualization. To action or learn, they need to be inspired and their learning style is passion, seriously, and what we mean by this is a real zeal for the task or project, so that when both of these qualities of inspired and passion are actioned and are apparent you gain in personal development. And what keeps the learning style in context of employment or educational pursuit is by supporting curiosity, valuing grit, and modeling passion.

BUILDING STYLES:
There are three that I could say at this point in terms of building mindset styles that are apparent in a person:
those that build as they go along
those that look at all possible variables then build
those that build then innovate
How they do this, is having a 'builders mindset', which means that they don’t waste energy on distraction, detractors, or deceivers – they don’t come away from their mission, for anyone, once their mind is set on their vision for they know that
The building process takes energy. Not only does the mind need to work, but it must have the energy to withstand the process before us. Say no to opportunities that do not align with the vision, as they could become distractions and drain your energy.
There will be individuals with opinions about the thing that you are building, but builder's mindset does not get discouraged by the opinions of others. Builders stay focused on what needs to be done.

For having a 'builder’s mindset'— is an approach to developing practices and processes that promote both the mission and the means to achieve it.
BUILDERS CULTURE:
Mindset is your capital. It means that successes and actions are due to mindset. Mindset is also your currency in life: positively or negatively. And there are in a company culture three mindsets that individuals fall into at work and all three need to work together to sustain all processes:
Builders Mindset - entrepreneurial spirit
Settlers Mindset - finance for growth
Nomadic Mindset - marketing trends
As the right culture is a pillar that draws people to you. The right culture with the right mindset can encourage, motivate and inspire belonging and performance. Culture is your decision and creation to develop.
The animal that symbolizes this concept of a 'Builders Mindset' perfectly is the: Beaver. Why?Because, the beaver is an expert builder, and it can transform the environment with hard work and determination. It can work alone and with a team, and still achieve amazing results!

And because the beaver spirit animal symbolizes ingenuity and persistence when it comes to work. For you are being encouraged to be diligent until the task is completed. The beaver meaning also speaks about productivity and achievement. Beavers are creative, practical and well-organised too. And therefore, they are a cultural figure when it comes to endeavours.
Or as Jeanine Blackwell has said in her formula: The right mindset + right model + momentum = create anything you want.
For a culture to thrive, you want to have the right mindsets in the right positions at the right time: migrating, aligning and adapting to the vision.
How do we begin to build, when we have a vision within?:
Write the vision down
Develop a mind to work: the mission strategy
Be ready for discouragement: use tactics
Rely on the strength of Will, allow it to show you that your work is not in vain
Surround yourself with other innovators and builders, this will encourage you
Work for a higher purpose. Such as keeping the Spiritual Word of God close to you: “Therefore, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labour is not in vain.” (HB, 1 Corinthians 15:58)
Most builders start with the 'Where' question when starting any job: "where would you like me to put that?" perhaps even saying "where would you like it to go?" or even "where are we building it?" For me, the 'where' question is a clear indication of an action word and stops you from overthinking, in terms of how or what question which can leave you despondent. So looking at the place to start, the 'where' question is invaluable in the process of a mindset, as it galvanizes you to take a decision and gives you the impetus, that is the force or energy to move.
And it is the same for having a 'Builders Mindset' to work along with the 'doing' part of ourselves in activities and to map out our lives and build our work. And the best place to start is using the 'Where' in questions, as they are a compass guide which is pragmatic and practical, for example:
Where have you come from? (past) Where are you now? (present)
Where do you want to be? (future)
Where will/would...this help you to grow? (areas)
Where are your feelings right now? (emotions) Where does this fit into your life? (lifestyle)
Where should I.... start/stop? (project management) Where is/are....? (resources)
Where do/does/did....this leave you? (review)
Where can/could....? (opportunities)
Where might....that be/I do this? (trends/possibilities/problem-solving)
And to break some of this down further and get into specifics use 'Which' as options, desires and choices to make decisions for solutions, for example:
Which of these....would suit my situation now? (options) Which type....could benefit me? (desire)
Which framing....should I use? (choices) Which moves...Now?! (doing)
Investigating these aspects from this approach will not only help you to perform better, but also improve your perspective and cause a shift that you might want to build and/or move into. That is to be exactly where you need to be.
The 'how' is what comes along through training and learning which is built from experience over time. But the 'why' would be personal to every individual with a builders mindset. However, some answering with this builders mindset of 'why' might fall into doing it to make a contribution or to leave a legacy behind them.
